Billy and I joined Greg Stathakis, a retired Santa Barbara high school teacher, and a group he led on a remarkable trip to PNG. We added on some diving, and it made for a pretty terrific father-son spring vacation.

We've been lucky over the years to travel to some fun places as a family. When we go, I like to take pictures of Laura and our sons, Billy (19) and Brendy (14). We all like to run, and the guys dive together.
Our favorite trips include a killer couple weeks with Smiling Albino in Thailand, another couple at Wakatobi and Bali, and a fascinating father-son tour with Greg Stathakis in Papua New Guinea. I did Blurb books on the Indonesia and PNG trips.
At home, Laura teaches piano and does crossword puzzles, Bren plays in the M-A band. He won this year's top freshman cross country award. Billy's a sophomore on the Tufts cross country and track teams, and I squeeze in some running and cycling when I'm not at the office (Cooley Godward, a really nice law firm). I also like to bake and take care of our pets, which include a macaw and cockatoo, and a bunch of reptiles.
