Time is a peculiar thing. Although it is a fixed system of seconds, minutes, hours, days and months it is at the same time a subjective experience depending on the person and the situation.
Time can fly by. Time can stretch endlessly.
In busy times, during periods we are enjoying, when reaching the anticipated moment the 60 minutes could as well be just five, time seems to be over within a blink of an eye. The time we are spending waiting for something, the hours during which we do things we don’t enjoy and when we can’t wait for them to be over, the moments we spend having nothing to do can seem like years.
So what is time?
This book is a photographic exploration of the course and movement of time and the experience of it.
