About the Book
This book exploits pollution and litter of the St. Joseph River in Northern Indiana. Which is more intimidating-what we do see or what we don't? We have grown so accustomed to the fowl odor, trash on the banks, the foams and films on the surface of the river that we may be desensitized to it. These images are to remind us that pollution still plagues the St. Joe. The people who mindlessly throw out bottles, bags and waste in and by the river are responsible for it. This is pure laziness and quite a shame for any body of water that supports an ecosystem.

I was born in South Bend, Indiana. I am currently attending Indiana University pursuing a BFA with a concentration in photography. After graduation I hope to obtain a career where I travel often and experience many different cultures. My primary interest lays within landscape photography but I also enjoy capturing individuality and emotion in portraits. My first love music. There is nothing like participating in a feel good jam. Photography is a close second. The feeling of making a breathtaking image is absolutely incredible.
