I fell in love with the High Country 50 years ago during my first backcountry adventures in the Sierra Nevada. Since then I have been fortunate enough to live at elevation and travel between Colorado and Alaska more times than I can count. Lately, I have been spending six months each year living in my camper and adventuring each day. I do not consider myself a photographer but rather someone who finds himself in such spectacular country one can not help but get a good photo now and then. Previously, I have published books on wildlife, I thought I would limit this one to landscapes but could not resist throwing in a few of my favorite critters pictures. You can not really separate the land from what lives there. This book is organized generally from north to south.
