Modern View of Old Town
by Suhwe Lee
About the Book
Many of my friends in Singapore are from Malacca, Malaysia. I went home with them and was so impressed by Malacca’s vibrant colors and images. This little town has rich multiracial and multicultural heritages.
In the fifteen centry, Zheng He and his Ming fleet stopped over Malacca on the way to discover the world . Today, Malacca strait remains the main shipping channel between Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean, linking major Asian economies such as India, China, Japan, and Korea.
Stepping into the fusion and harmony of old and new world is a great experience of Malacca trip time after time.
