This book is filled with images from a study of basic fears. We (Kallie and I) took 22 people and just talked to them about the terrors that limit their abilities. We then took calligraphy ink and painted some representation of that fear on their skin. Each image is a portrait with nothing hiding the person, forced to embrace insecurities and fears the subjects become something beautiful and terrifying. They each become something of a mirror, that (hopefully) the viewer can connect with.
