POP ART is a collection of vintage cola and other soda signs found across North America from Key West, Florida to Seattle, Washington. The photos were taken during my travels, about 25 to 30 years ago, and I am pretty certain many of these hand painted signs no longer exist. Some of them were nearly weathered away back when I saw them, and judging by the advertised prices from 5 to 10 cents, they have been on display for many many years. I really enjoy reading your comments, and I am likely to preview your work as well. Thanks!

I began my professional life as an Art teacher, and moved on as an editorial illustrator and cartoonist for several newspapers, a photo stylist for mail order catalogs, wedding and portrait photographer, and doing promotional video production for various businesses and performance artists. Adopting my cats was a life-changing experience for me, and my first book, Life with Max and Tori, is about sharing the love and joy of keeping cats as pets. My second book, POP ART - Vintage Cola & Other Soda Signs, was imagined over 30 years ago, way before the days of self-publishing. I have cleaned up and enhanced the old Kodachrome and Ektachrome transparencies. Enjoy! I recently joined RedBubble, where you can see and purchase more of my photography as post cards, greeting cards, and prints. I will be test marketing photos there to see if there would be interest as a Blurb book on other subjects that my camera has captured. Please comment or ask questions. Thanks!
