Brandy Favorite(-Benmoussa) was born, and raised, in Bowie, Maryland. She was raised by her mother and step-father, along side her two younger brothers. Brandy graduated high school in 1999, and proceeded to graduate from college in 2001, with a Psychology Degree specializing in Human Services.
