About the Book
These drawings were done sporadically over the long stretch from 1974 to 2004. The first two thirds of the drawings were done while I was living in South Africa and the last section was done after I settled in London in 2004.
I especially like the terracota colour and texture of the opaque paint which I feel suits the subject matter well.
