This is the story of Tarf II, a car which set world land speed records in the two-litre class, piloted by the legendary Piero Taruffi.
One of Western Australia's foremost motoring historians and the author of many books on motorsport in Australia. His most recent book is The Mighty MG Magnettes of 33 which was honoured as Book of the Month in Classic & Sports Car Magazine. He is working on the Centenary History of the Lake Perkolilli motor racing track in Australia. The book will be called Red Dust Racers.
