I have been cycling in Auckland for about ten years now and over the last couple I have noticed an explosion in the fixed gear scene. From what initially appeared to be just a few loners on the roads there is now a fully-blown community.
The idea behind this book was to create a snapshot of the culture and friendship that exists between the fixed gear and BMX crews that go to Tim’s shop.
