I read it to the end withot stopping and with my poor eye sight that is saying something. I loved the story and how you connected the lives of the old man and young man at the end. The typos did not bother me.

Never having been married myself, I felt that perhaps it would be difficult to understand the feelings of one who has been the recipient of the bounty of a forty year association with a partner who obviously generated the willingness to give freely as he did to her.
Reading the book “Hours have no Days”, I wandered off in my thoughts and became aware of things that were unconsciously already there and that there were people in my life who was a bounty to meet even though it was all too short, but not short enough to have been a lasting that still exists.
The intense sorrow caused by the loss of a deeply loved one brings on despair in its many forms, hopelessness, desperation, depression, discouragement and dejection. However, is not an ill wind that blows no good, as often grief transforms a lost bounty into an enduring treasure of accumulated memories of which there is no equal, a joy that is set aside in a cache that is continually updated and dispensed when the need. As long as the other partner lives, his memories of her still make its contributions of a loving companion in the matrix that is life,
We may be getting on in years, but we are still young at heart
