Ears is a compilation of photographs taken during trail rides over the past year in an area southwest of Highland Valley Road in Escondido, California from June, 2009 to May, 2010. The ears of Telma, Tiena, and Bucanaro, the Paso Finos, frame the landscapes. I find it amazing that these beautiful creatures have willingly carried us to such great heights and striking locations. Words cannot describe the thrill of a gallop up a mountain or the pleasure of a casual trail ride through fields of native wild flowers. These photographs represent a return to my youthful passion.
