by Lincoln High School Students
This book is a collaborative effort between two classes (Reading the Media and Graphic Arts) at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon. Students in the Reading the Media class researched and wrote on topics relating to media, and the Graphic Arts students illustrated each essay.
All profits go to the Lincoln graphics program.
I currently teach Graphic Arts at Lincoln High School in Portland, Oregon. I grew up in Central Oregon. After earning Bachelors degrees in both Art and Art Education I moved to Chicago, where I taught in public high schools for several years. Along with a friend, I also opened and ran an art gallery – 4Art Inc. – for two years.
