Drie and meer is a book about us people, the differences and similarity between our own kind.
We live in masses and by clothes at the same mondial stores, still we are unique in my eyes. We can see the details in the pictures.
Most of the people are standing still, in this moment I see people more confrontated with themselves and watching them is like seeing ourselves in the mirror.

This summer I graduated at the School of Fine Arts, Academie Minerva, in Groningen.
I specialized in photography. My main subject are groups of people. Mainly standing and waiting for what is coming, or watching an event.
In the groups I see the individuels. Al special faces and manners that are unique. Maybe we look (same clothes) and act in many ways the same but I can always see the difference between us.

I never was interested in taking pictures of people. But Janine's book with pictures of groups of people waiting, changed this. I see now that taking pictures of people can be quite interesting.
In a way Janine's book changed my point of view about taking pictures.
