This book is a great resource for therapists to use in conjunction with therapy. It helps with explaining the biological origins of anxiety, depression, and bi-polar disorders which allows me to help my patients accept themselves as ill rather than flawed. Knowing more about how various psychotropic medicine work on brain chemistry helps me motivate my patients to comply with treatment.
