More than 2000 years ago, Roman arches were used not just for their architectural capabilities but also for their power to amaze and glorify. Although proportions and materials have changed through the years, the arch is still an object of beauty and romance.
Historically found only in the homes of the most affluent, the arch is no longer a prerogative of the wealthy and many versions appear in modern, bustling streets or hidden in secret gardens in quaint towns such as Sorrento.
I look for beauty in detail and try to capture that in my photography. More of my work can be seen on my website, along with a few rambling thoughts and various art projects..
