The images presented in this book were chronicled during one journey from London to Morocco, overland, over the course of two magical weeks; a journey that roughly descended along the Prime Meridian. Beginning our journey in London, the first photographs of our journey were not documented until our arrival in Paris; the
birthplace of the black & white street photography which I aspire to, covet, but rarely - if ever - parallel. Our journey, this book, maps our passage out of the familiar, comfortable territories of Western Europe into unfamiliar, intoxicating and intense cultures, societies and lands. It is a journey that will take in the busy pavements and bustling street cafes of Paris; the impassioned and claustrophobic Moroccan souks and medinas - with their exotic sights, alien sounds and bitter-sweet smells - and; the heady, tranquil but unforgiving climbs of the Atlas mountains and Atlantic coast.
