This book contains photos of Friedrich W. Kreft's works of art and gives an insight into the person behind his art. His art is the biography of his life. Friedrich grew up in Germany and immigrated with his family after WWI to the Milwaukee/Manitowoc, Wisconsin area. He spent his later years in Paonia, Colorado. Friedrich was a trained architect who was also multitalented artist and teacher. His art is awe inspiring and some pieces are like a visual spiritual meditation. He worked in various mediums: wood, oil, water color, pen and ink, pencil, stained glass, metal, just to name a few. The book is divided into family, paintings, religious art, drawings, and mixed media.
