About the Book
Dartmoor National Park was established in 1951 to protect the unique moorland landscape of central Devon for future generations. It is a land of many moods and many facets, from rugged uplands to lush river valleys. Remnants of the moor's industrial past litter the landscape, together with archaeological remains of much older origin. All this adds up to a fascinating mixture of subject matter that has inspired photographer Ed Pavelin to spend many hours recording Dartmoor on film. This book is a collection of Ed's favourite images, and is a personal record of his own exploration of the moor.
