In My Own View is a collection of the images I have taken. After much persuasion from friends and family to show my images, I decided to do so in aid of charity.
The images include studio work, buildings, scenic, wildlife and nature. I always look for a different way to take an image and even made clothing out of bubble wrap and packing material for one studio shoot. I have also added some of my photographic artwork.
I take what I like and if others like them too that is a bonus.
I am donating at least 50% of any profit from sales to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Denbighshire & District Branch. I personally know how important research is into the cancer as my husband has Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia.

About the Author

Debbie Hickmott

I am an amateur photographer and decided after much persuasion to publish my images. Not being that good with computers I am amazed I have got this far! I take what I like and if other people like them then that is a bonus. I am always a bit hesitant at showing my work as I never think it's good enough! I suffer with Rheumatoid Arthritis and do find things difficult, but my photography is my bit of heaven. I am donating at least 50% of any profits from my book to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Denbighshire & District Branch. My hubby has Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia and the family raise money for the charity.

I bought this fantastic book recently, as I found it browsing on the web. The photographs featured within the book are fantastic - you can really see the passion that the artist has shining through each image. The artist has clearly got an eye for a fabulous shot, and clearly has a creative eye.
I would recommend this book to anyone - I was particularly pleased that some proceeds of the book went to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
