About the Book
Unabridged & UnEarthly.. a raw rendition of Romantic Misery!
The Death Of Love follows a travel weary and beleaguered narrator as he makes a hasty, and broken, return trip HOME after nearly 12 months on the road. Sleeping under bridges, hitch hiking in the rain.. cycling across the plains and running from ghosts of a world gone weary ... alone and travel worn he returns to his beloved mountain town for rest and respite. But, the warm, loving embrace of The One whom he thought was so eagerly awaiting his arrival... was not.
This version consists of "Love is a four letter werd", "The Salad Bowl of Sad Delights", and "The Death of Love" in one, graphically enhanced volume. As such, it is "unabridged" and, due to it's minimally edited nature it does exhibit the totality.. the raw experiential expression of the moment the work was created within.
The overall production is described as a "dark, experimental examination into many of the various aspects of love, both positive and negative, carried out through literary vignettes both real and imagined." Written in a fluid and entertaining manner that is uniquely “M. Scott Ault.”
This volume will ONLY be available through Blurb. This is, also, the only "unabridged" version that will be available for retail purchase~ online or off. 1$ from the sale of each unit will be sequestered for donation to charity/ charities as defined and/ or decided upon at mscottault.com
As an artist, I explore various different perspectives and relationships. My work is diverse... and contrary to the "jack of all trades, master of none" theory, I've been practicing in these many fields for decades. I might not have attained mastery in all, but I am confident that I am fluent in mine own chosen specialties. Specifically, I am a painter, poet, author, sculptor, and fine art nude photographer. You can learn more about me and my work in general (and my friends work as well) through the upcoming issues of "Altphotoart"
