Many children fear medical exams. In RIPCORD GOES TO THE VET, Ripcord the Cat confronts the issue in a very entertaining and educational way. The goal of the story is to help prepare children for their visit with a physician and to help relieve any anxiety they may feel. By the end of the story, Ripcord learns that his fear is unjustified and that doctors are here to help and heal us.
