Beneath The Scar is a photographic journey depicting emotions of a Breast Cancer discovery from diagnosis through to survival. The photographs in this book are portrayed by brave women young and young at heart who have been touched either directly or indirectly by this disease. The intention of this book is to convey what the mind and body go through when touched by a life altering experience. In addition, I hope to translate to the viewer that through adversity much can be learned and made easier by the way you take it. Whatever the circumstance, live life to the fullest, however short or long that may be. Embrace life; live, laugh, love.
