The MotherHouse- A rare opportunity for a glimpse into the lives and home of an order of 300 Catholic women who belong to The Sisters of Charity in Leavenworth, Kansas. The warmth, joy, and caring spirituality of these women will immediately captivate the visitor and give a unique insight into what it means to become a woman of faith, and a Sister of Charity from a perspective never seen before.
This is a photographic essay allowing viewers who have never visted a Catholic order of nuns to appreciate and enjoy the quiet beauty of their MotherHouse, the adjoining University of Saint Mary, and the surrounding countryside settled in 1858.
The strength of these Sisters' mission and their enduring presence will not disappoint any who visit.

This is a wonderful glimpse into another world. It is photographed artfully and with sensitivity.
