This book provides an insight into a part of animals lives that many people rarely see.
It shows what happens to our pets after we drop them off at the vets for a routine operation or as we wait anxiously for news after a pet was injured in an accident.
It also shows the care and dedication taken to ensure the wellbeing and health of farm animals - animals that the farming community rely on for their livelihood and that we rely on for food, milk and wool etc.
More than this, it shows the dedication and hard work that the veterinary staff put into each day and the care that they take over each and every animal that they treat.
Simon is a short, balding photographer from Raumati Beach, New Zealand. He now lives in Scotland and likes vegemite on toast, cats, hats, cities, sunny days in Kirkcudbrightshire and taking photographs. Simon takes his photography very seriously and has several cameras - none of them digital! Simon processes his film in the kitchen, scans it in the dining room and prints it on a big Epson printer in the spare bedroom. Simon's other interests include: music (listening), movies (watching), books (reading) and the outdoors (walking).
