As procissões da Semana Santa em Braga, Portugal, a minha cidade natal, atraem centenas de pessoas todos os anos. Manifestação de culto religioso para alguns, para outros é um género de romaria festiva ou mesmo promoção social. O tema tem sido exaustivamente explorado todos os anos também em fotografia e estas imagens são a minha interpretação artistica mas também critica de realidade que conheço bem, pois nasci e vivi numa das ruas de passagem das procissões da Semana Santa.

The processions of the Holy Week in Braga, Portugal, my hometown, attract thousands of people every year. Religious manifestation for some, for others it is a kind of festive pilgrimage or social promotion. The theme has been thoroughly explored every year also in photography and these images are my interpretation, artistic but also criticizes a fact that I know well because I was born and lived in one of the streets crossing the processions of the Holy Week.
