Hello, my name is Kate Karwan Burgess, and I am the creative behind "K2B CREATIVE." I am a freelance photographer and graphic designer. I specialize in editorial, portrait, fine art, and wedding photography. I am also skilled in print and web design. I am passionate about what I do and how my work can impacts the world.
I earned an undergraduate degree from West Point, The United States Military Academy in 1995. I served in the Army for seven years as helicopter pilot before leaving to pursue my photography full time.
In 2004 I earned my Master's Degree of Photography from Ohio University's School of Visual Communications.
I speak a little Spanish and Portuguese, know a couple dozen chords on the guitar, and like to play Scrabble. I teach Spinning classes, indoor cycling, and in general like to ride my bike.
I live in Sonoma County, California, north of San Francisco with my "trophy husband" and two dogs.
