About the Ebook
Moving Stills Media follows Cyle O'Donnell in his first volume of photo-documentaries. In the windswept mountain passes of Northern Vietnam, lies the home base of dozens of native tribes. This book traces the history of the Dzao and Hmong tribes, who live peacefully, farming their tiered fields, crafting their own clothing and generally disengaging anything resembling the fast life of city culture. This book can be ordered in conjunction with the Moving Stills Film of the same name at cyleodonnell.com.
Cyle O'Donnell Photography has carried me through (currently) 28 nations, across four continents and around the world twice; on a personal bicycling trek of more than 12,000 miles through 12 countries; on the backs of horses, motorcycles, donkeys, kayaks, four-wheelers, surf boards and even elephants; dangling from the ropes of hot air balloons, para-gliders and bungee cords; running alongside buffalo, elk and reindeer; hanging from tree limbs, cliffs and along the sides of high-rise buildings; clamoring through the cloud forests of Central America, the rain forests of South America and the jungles of Southeast Asia; ice-climbing on glaciers, snowboarding world class ski resorts and being pulled behind a snowmobile (aka snowmachine); braving extreme temperatures from negative 60 above the arctic circle, to the hot, humid, tropical heat waves; I've had to refill my passport twice in less than 7 years and it's all been documented through a lens and posted on my website, cyleodonnell.com.
