About the Book
DAWGS - Through the Eyes of Our Dogs, is the first volume in a series of photography books vividly depicting the essence of what our dogs see and perhaps feel as they go about their business of being dogs. Through the book's stunning images you may be able to perceive in their corneal reflection what these dogs are seeing and then perhaps better understand the wonder of our canine friends.

Vic rediscovered his interest in photography upon retirement and combined it with his love for wo/man's best friends. He and his wife, Joan, have always been fond of large breeds and following their family of Newfies, ventured into the world of Leonbergers and never looked back. They presently have two Leonberger rescues, Lincoln and Cassie, who are included in Vic's two volumes of DAWGS. Lincoln, in June 2009, saved Vic from drowning, while he was attempting to rescue Cassie from a dangerous river predicament. As a tribute to Lincoln, all net proceeds from the sale of this book and benefits of the charitable contribution program, "Blurb For Good", will go directly to a Leonberger rescue charity. You can read the story and view pictures of his two dogs at: http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=0AUH8LBrAhxQdZGhrNDZzczVfMGM2bXJycjVx&hl=en Vic's photographs appear most recently in "Dogs...Naturally!" magazine.
