The age of 'Oil' is ending and the people who control the giant Multinationals know it. Through their network of observers and other surveillance activities they have discovered a threat to their business so fundamental that they determine to stop it at any cost.
The object of their concern is Dr. Charles Randall, a young research physicist at MIT who has discovered a process that ranks along side the greatest works of Newton, Edison and Einstein; a breakthrough that will render the oil companies and their activities as extinct as the dinosaurs.
Ecolocorp are the worlds most radical environmental organization. Led by a visionary they have funded Randall's research. As the action cascades across the globe, a desperate race begins that pits the vast resources of the multinationals against the single minded determination of the environmentalists in a battle to posess the secret that will change the world for ever.
