About the Book

There is a large section devoted to my experience starting my own business. Any person contemplating this career path might find this of particular interest.

Graduated CCNY with a BEE degree in Electronics. I worked for defense contractors on LI for about 10 years and then had a variety of marketing jobs before starting my business in 1980. We distributed personal computer hardware and starting from my basement with no capital I grew the enterprise to 100 employees in seven years. I sold the business in 1987 and retired at age 49. Since then my wife and I have traveled to 100 countries on all seven continents. We have undertaken very long walks across in Europe We dog sledded to the North Pole and climbed Mt Kilimanjaro. Now our time is spent in London and New York with family and friends on both sides of the Atlantic.
