The Mass Rock At Monatouke, is firstly, a brief history of the catholic oppresion during the years,of the dommination of the English, who tried to abbolish the practicing of the mass in Ireland. The people and the priests were forced to practice their religion in the fields, and mountains of Ireland.
In this book, i cover our own local "MASS ROCK", which was the only way to hold the mass. This was done in total secrecy, with the help of the people. The "MASS ROCKS", sprung up throught Ireland, in answer to the opression by the crown, and towards the end, it was Queen Anne, who persecuted the priests and the folowers, to the point of "Death".
