About the Book
My book titled 'Schizophrenia and Art' was inspired from those around me. From my childhood to present day I have gathered information on a subconscious level which intern I transferred to paper. Living with schizophrenia has given me insight of which I share in my story with words of encouragement, with the intention to show other sufferers of mental illness that life is what you make it and that you can make it too. Art became my healing tool and I hope I can guide others to find their gift. I wanted my readers to understand that what is on the surface is the truth. There are no hidden meanings. It is a dark place we live in and hopefully I can shed some light on the stigma of mental illness. My book is full of insight into the mind of how schizophrenia affects me and how I have turned a negative into a positive.
