Journey inward into the world of splendour and elegance of these misunderstood and often overlooked, but nonetheless extraordinary and charming creatures.
Hi Janet ! I'm happy to see you're enjoying it. And yeah, I was also practicing taking photos in the old biology labs where you had to draw everything, and most of us didn't have much artistic skills in that area. The pictures on this book where taken on a microscope with an SLR adaptor, but you can have the same quality of pictures with any point-and-shoot camera through the eye piece. The samples and the microscope are a big issue here. Oh, and a bit of hand stability too.
I just loved your book ! As a retired Biology teacher (34 yearsteaching), I enjoyed your book very much. Back in the old days (before computers) I was always rigging up some device to the camera so that my students could take photos under the microscope. I'm quite interested about how you took your pictures.
