a collection of poetry gathered in the spring/summer of 2010. with a love of the natural world and using a distinct conversational style, the poems display a strong sense of personal hopes, loves, fears and doubts.
hopefully they will be seen a little like thought bubbles; brief, but also intriguing.

I am a songwriter based in the UK, releasing records under the guise of 'The Katie Winter'. But this has happened as a by-product of my love of words and writing. I have always loved the connections we make in words, and try in my writing to 'speak' to others, in a way that provides openess to interpretation, writing with a tone akin to having a conversation sometimes.
I love exploring the natural world around me, and find great solace in nature, which I think will come through in the poems. I also use it to question faith, consider hope, and also look in a positive way at the lives we live.

This book is so enticing. The front cover, the preview, the title... definitely on my "to buy" list once my wallet permits.
