About the Book
In 2006 I travelled to Nepal to participate in holding a workshop for women humanitarian workers, as a pilot training programme developed by Born Global held in association with Save The Children Norway in Nepal.
This book is a selection of images from this adventure which took me from Kathmandu to the Nepalese lowlands of Nepalganj, Bardiya and Kailali, to Nagarkot and to Pharping in the Kathmandu valley.
It was three weeks filled with wondrous encounters, contrasts and a life reality-check I feel valuable far beyond any currency.

About the Creator
Born in Oslo, Norway, in 1972, I relocated to London in '82 and spent the next 16 years in England and Scotland before returning to the homeland in '97. Those years in various Norwegian, English and international schools seem to have done their part in molding me into a member of our world society rather than any particular nationality. That feeling is reinforced each time I travel and get the chance to encounter the wonderful myriad of contrasting cultures and people on our planet. While doing an MA in Economics at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland (1991-95) I started taking a more serious interest in photography and exploring what can only be described as my creative forces - more precisely, within the sphere of audiovisuality. Today I continue to nurture my passion for what I find esthetic to my eyes and ears.
