About the Book
A small town had their first annual basketball camp due to a a person's desire to help the kids by creating an awareness of recreation and to nurture their self esteem and athletic abilities. This person, Steve Fleming, grew up in Cooleemee and was shocked to see the condition of the town when he came home for Christmas in 2009. He met with his childhood mentor, Grimes Parker, and they put on a camp to help out the kids and to let them know someone cared. The camp was an amazing event and the kids will treasure this opportunity for a lifetime.
