I made a memorial walk on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, on 4th August 2010, to remember the Leysdown Tragedy which happened on that date in 1912. Nine boys, most of them scouts, drowned while sailing to camp. They are now buried in Nunhead Cemetery. I made a series of photographs which reflect on safety, erosion, childhood and loss.
