This book is a complete series of images that I took of a decaying flower. The flower had fallen into the bottom of a vase and I photographed it once it had become dried to the glass. I was surprised at how beautiful and detailed each section of the flower was and how translucent the remains were. It almost seemed to morph into something completely different as I was photographing it. Nature continually fascinates me!
I enjoy exploring creativity in new and exciting ways. I love to learn about artistic processes and am always ready to get my hands dirty. I am constantly being inspired by books, blogs, magazines, photographs, movies, and nature. I enjoy making crafts, building strange cameras to take pictures with, sewing, and watching Project Runway, all while eating chocolate. I studied at Northwest College of Art and have earned a bachelor's degree in visual communication with majors in both fine art and design.
