This book documents the paintings created by American artist, Princess Simpson Rashid, that were funded by an Art Ventures grant from the Community Foundation of Jacksonville, FL.
The purpose of the grant award was to allow Rashid to execute a series of mixed media paintings that would explore the relationship between abstract art and math, color and music, composition and perception.
This book contains both studio and exhibit photos. It also includes a portfolio of select paintings exhibited at the Jacksonville Museum of Science and History (MOSH) from May - September 2007.
