"I'll Just Make More Gravy"
by Frank White
This book of Americana takes the reader back to the time of sharecroppers and homesteaders in the rural South as seen through the eyes of a young boy growing up in the 1920's and 30's.
I am soo happy to be reading this book (not quite done yet)!!! I am the great-granddaughter of Albert White (DeeDaddy) and it is so neat to read about him in this book! I love how personal this book is, I feel like I'm sitting at great-great-uncle Frank's knee listing to stories around a campfire or something! I'm so happy to have this piece of family history to pass down to my family! I loved seeing the picture in the back and seeing my BeMama and DeeDaddy! Thank you so much for writing this!!

Enjoyed your book very much. Received it from my father, Charlie Bateman who is Frank's nephew. I enjoyed learning about the simple times during the great depression and our family history. It brings history to life. Thanks, Max

Congratulations Grandpa on your first published book! This will certainly be a treasure for our family to pass down and cherish as they re-live the history of the White Family's beginning. It's not only interesting and entertaining, its a great lesson in life, and what it was, and (sometimes) should be. The story is relevant, not just to our family, and as such I am sure it will be enjoyed by many readers! Love you! Looking forward to your next book!~ Tina
