About the Book
Moonta celebrated its 150yrs of Copper in 2010 with an exhibition of paintings and etchings by award winning artist Deirdre Edwards.
Deirdre's grandparents and great grandparents came from the Moonta region and her great grandfather was a carpenter who made the first whim used on the Moonta mines when mining began in the 1800's.
The artists links to the cornish heritage of Moonta continues today and her artworks hang in private, public and international collections.
This limited edition book gives the reader an insight into the artworks exhibited by Deirdre for this historic occasion.
