Paul Slaughter / Jazz Photographs 1969 to 2010, with a foreword by renowned jazz musician Charles Lloyd, is a 12x12 inch square book, 80 pages, with 81 photographs of jazz greats, mostly in black and white with a few in color. Photographs include classic images of Miles, Dizzy, and Duke, to more modern images of Redman, Metheny, Lloyd and Marsalis. The photographs have been selected from Paul Slaughter’s extensive collection of jazz photographs dating from 1969 to the present. See book preview and an index of musicians included.

Paul, great collection of jazz greats. Good to see Sonny Rollins today, my first up close and personal was at the Monetery Jazz Festival with B&W. So did some Photoshop for color later. My jazz time was long ago, 1958-65, when MJF started, so have Brubeck "Take Five" crew, Louis, Dizzy, Tjader, Duke, Mingus, James, etc. Last year I put out a blurb edition (688782) - take a look "MJF- The Early Years." Just a few weeks to 2010 MJF! Some close-up times 1-1 with Louis in "My Life - " 240 page book 1492487. Was in Santa Fe Aug. 1-4 this year, first time.
