About the Book
Wild and crazy rock formations, intriguing canyons, beautiful spring flowers, vast desert landscapes — Gold Butte has it all. Lying between Nevada's Lake Mead and Arizona's Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument, this 345,000 acre region is being discovered by people from all over the world.
Carved in Stone is a gallery of nearly 350 photos from Gold Butte, one of the 17 "Crown Jewels" recently identified by Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar as public lands deserving national designation from Congress.
