About the Creator
Born in Belgium, she first studied economics before moving to New York and studying photography at ICP. Her pictures have since been published a.o. in Double Take, Newsweek, PDN, Liberation, Le Monde, Lettre International, Private, Days Japan. She received the Marty Forscher Grant for Emerging Photographer in 2001. Her pictures have been exhibited internationally and are included in the collections of the Portland Art Museum, The Museum of Photography in Charleroi, the Kyosato Museum of Photography, the agnes b. collection. She has been collaboring with Action Against Hunger since 2004. She focuses in a more personal and emotional type of documentary photography. She has documented indigenous communities in Guatemala; Colombia, Chile and Palestine. She is represented by L'Agence Vu' in Paris.
