About the Book
Being the official photographer for the Film 4 Frightfest 2010 held at The Empire, Leicester Square I was privileged to photograph many special moments and well known faces from the horror genre over the 5 days. I have tried in this book to present these moments.
Putting this collection of photos together I have tried to include most of the key moments of the event. As there was so much going on in 2 screens I have been unable to cover every moment or guest.
I am a Freelance Editorial Photographer living in Worthing. Most of my work is in Sussex and London although I do travel further afield if requested. I mainly work in the field of entertainment covering Live Music, Film and TV events, Premieres etc. My work has been published in UK national papers, periodicals and internationally. In my "spare" time I shoot fine art and stock capturing what 99.999% of the population miss as they walk around, if only they would open their eyes. People are wonderful - I feel split moments can show far more emotion and illustrate an event or person than any moving image can. Most of my inspiration comes from 1950's and 1960's black and white imagery but due to current news market trends, I don't get to deliver black and white images often. :-(
