About the Book
"The Angry Date" is a heartwarming love story and tribute to Otis & Willie Solomon. The book was written by their eldest daughter (Cheryl Mbaye) and read aloud for the entertainment of family and friends at a July 17, 2010 event celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The two were married on July 12th, 1960. The Setting of "The Angry Date: A Love Story and Tribute to Otis & Willie Solomon) is the late 1950s in the South (Roberta and Thomaston, Georgia). Their's is a love supreme with respect for each other's individuality and of always keeping God first. This book is dedicated to Otis Solomon, Jr. and Willie Lee Solomon by their children.
