"Garden Poetry" is a colorful and unique expression of fine art photography with an illustrative twist. Basing her work on digital photography technologies (camera and scan), Coleman re-renders each work using Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro to create compelling and illustrative images.

A delight to peruse, "Garden Poetry" is 80 pages with 43 richly colored images and the artist's own writings about concepts, process and what art means in the context of our lives. This 12 x 12" book makes a beautiful display on the coffee table at home or in the office, and would be a fitting gift for good friend or client...or to enjoy for yourself.

About the Author

Nancy Coleman
gardenpoet Seattle, Washington
I am an artist and newly residing in Seattle, Washington. Aside from working in my studio, I travel frequently and immerse myself in art wherever I go. Before moving to the Pacific Northwest, I served as Chair of the Palo Alto Public Art Commission, was a partner at a fine art photo gallery in Half Moon Bay, and a member of South Bay Area Women's Caucus for Art, and of Gallery House. My challenge now is to continue my immersion in the Seattle art community, generate a body of new work and find a new gallery home.
