Travel is often the muse of photographers, and the lure of distant places is evident in this book. However, more than mileage separates the author/photographer from most people; she has an ability to embrace and experience places, events, people, and things fully, with an appreciation of the beauty to be found. She discovers structures and ordinary objects, sculpted by time and the elements. She knows the preciousness of time, and the limited opportunities we humans have to see and appreciate the world. Her photographs bring back the wonder of the experience. Please enjoy this selection of her work showcasing the themes of Light, Form, and Texture.
